Who we are

Omnigenetica is a clinical-genomics infrastructure provider operating in Romania and the European Union. Inquiries: info@omnigenetica.com.

Personal data we process

For the clinical service: identifying information about the patient as required for sample tracking; genomic data derived from clinical-grade short-read sequencing; clinical context provided by the ordering clinician; biomarker data uploaded for analysis where applicable. For visitors to this website: standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, requested URL, timestamp) and any data submitted via the contact form.

Lawful basis

Processing is performed on the basis of explicit patient consent obtained at sample collection, and on the contractual basis between Omnigenetica and the requesting healthcare facility for the provision of clinical-genomic services. Website-form processing is performed on the basis of the visitor’s explicit submission of contact details.

Data residency

All personal data is processed and stored within the European Union. Samples are processed at a European laboratory in Denmark. There is no routine cross-border transfer of patient-identifying genomic data outside the EU.

Data-subject rights

Patients have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection under the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679). Requests are routed through the ordering healthcare facility or directly via info@omnigenetica.com.

Retention

Retention periods follow the clinical-record retention obligations of the requesting facility and applicable Romanian and EU healthcare regulations. Website contact-form data is retained for the time required to respond to the inquiry and then deleted.
